'Morning Light' is the recording debut of Animo, an American rock band from Santa Cruz, California. The EP counts seven tracks (five vocal tracks and two dubs) with the voice of Mo El-Sherif strangely enough reminding yours truly of that of Nits front man Henk Hofstede. On 'Morning Light' Animo serves up a series of mostly poppy sounding love tunes and in that light it were the two dub mixes by E.N. Young that really grabbed our attention.
