Anthony B's latest, 'Suffering Man', on the Jamaican Tad's Record label, starts splendidly with 'Bless Up', a great tune on the Cuss Cuss riddim. However, maintaining that level for the remaining 20 tracks, seems a bridge too far, even for Anthony B. That being said, this album contains enough potential hits ('Reggae Gon Pon Top', 'Mr. Controversy', criticizing the feud between Bounty Killer and Beenie, the Sleng Teng smash 'Ras Cloth' and the Jamaican number one 'Passa Passa') to give it an above average rating. Fifteen tracks would undoubtedly have sufficed though…
