Yours truly met Anthony John at the Lambeth Country Show, a small festival in South London's Brixton district, in 2005, just a week after the city was rocked by the worst terrorist attacks in its history, a tragedy John processed in 'Panic', a song from his new album 'Creation'. Although Anthony already proved his vocal qualities on his previous album 'Won't Loose Track', the singer hasn't really had his breakthrough moment yet. To make matters worse, after the bankruptcy of Jet Star (who distributed his previous album) he also had to go in search of a new record label and 'Creation' now appears on the new Flyroots Productions. The songs on 'Creation' are not all of the same level though and the intro and outro don't really add all that much, but here and there Anthony shows what he's really made of ('Roots John', 'Haile Selassie').
