'Meditation Time', Anthony Que's previous effort from earlier this year, didn't impress yours truly much, so we were waiting on the arrival of 'No Fear No Man' with some anticipation and we're happy to declare our Catalan friends from Reggaeland Records in Barcelona did manage to strike the right notes with Que. For most of the tracks on 'No Fear No Man', well-known Reggaeland riddims (Dem Talking, Reggae Reasoning, Cultura...) were used, resulting in the kind of balanced and relaxing album yours truly likes listening to on a blissful Sunday morning. 'No Fear No Man' is yet another perfect example of the fact Reggaeland Records like no other know how to jump back and forth between poppy, rootsy and soulful. Add to this the splendid voice of Anthony Que and you end up with a gem of an album. Recommended listening!
