Gabriel Piotrowski aka Biga Ranx needs little introduction, but under the pseudonym Atili Bandalero his brother Yannush has also already released several solo albums. For this new long player Bandalero joined forces with Prendy, a French vocalist from Aix-en-Provence who, together with Hollie Cook already made an appearance on Biga Ranx' 'Nightbird' album. Opener 'Tomorrow' was already included on last year's 'Closed Circuit' and for 'Sunday' Prendy was joined by Tenah Bones, who immediately reminded yours truly of Blur's Damon Albarn. If you can appreciate a bit of melodica, 'Bridge Over Troubled Dreams' is definitely your kind of album, as Tours-based Art-X (born Paul Smith) can be heard blowing away in different tracks, and together with his brother Olo as Ondubground also produced 'Dubtime', the dub version of 'Longtime'. Enjoyable discovery full of dubby melodica vibes!
