'Rockers At King Tubby's' is the fourth collection of recordings by melodica king Augustus Pablo Jamaican Recordings compiled into an album. The title of this compilation of course refers to classic Pablo albums like 'King Tubby Meets Rockers Uptown' or 'Rockers Meets King Tubbys In A Fire House'. In the track list a series of classic finger licking good riddims (Left With A Broken Heart, Queen Of The Minstrel, Put It On/Feel Jah Spirit, Rough Rider, Ain't No Sunshine, Ride Me Donkey, Vanity, Black Cinderella...) recorded by King Tubby and the recently departed Philip Smart. Rabid melodica haters may abstain, but for everyone else this is a highly recommended gem!
