The veterans in the Belgian reggae scene will still remember Buadee from his time with The Skyblasters, the slightly younger generation may know him from Buadee & The Walkers and a whole new generation can now discover him through his new album 'Life Journey'. 'Life Journey' was recorded in Sen-C P's Ebony Studio, so the technical qualities of the album leave little to be desired. Buadee has a nice voice, but from a lyrical point of view some tracks on 'Life Journey' could have used a bit more punch. Buadee chose 'This Time' as the first single of 'Life Journey', but yours truly had a preference for the infectious 'Face To Face'. The album ends with three excellently executed dub tracks. In their time The Skyblasters still reigned supreme in the Belgian reggae landscape and even though that landscape has changed drastically over the years, in the meantime, plucky veteran Buadee is still standing.
