A few years back we were still full of praise about 'Le Pop', the debut album by Norwegian girl quartet Katzenjammer, but about successor 'A Kiss Before You Go' we'll be rather brief. The majority of the tracks on this album lean towards pop and rock and world music influences are hard to find ('Gypsy Flee' still has a Gogol Bordello-like Gypsy vibe). In all honesty 'A Kiss Before You Go' doesn't really belong on these pages. Katzenjammer was one of the revelations at the latest edition of Rock Werchter and although this already suggests we probably won't too often cross paths with these ladies in the future, we wish Katzenjammer all the best!
