It took Kiddus I just under 30 years (!) to release an album. In 2007 we already saw 'Graduation In Zion: 1978-1980', but that was a compilation album made up of singles and rarities. 'Green Fa Life' is a classic roots album - recorded at the home studio of his brother-in-arms Earl 'Chinna' Smith - with a dash of soul ('When We Get Together') and blues ('Rock Rock Rock') added to the mix. Kiddus I's great voice already captivated yours truly when we heard it for the first time in 'Rockers' (co-star and lead role in that movie, Leroy 'Horsemouth' Wallace plays drums on some tracks of this album) and it still does so on 'Green Fa Life'.
