With 'Cats, Dogs And Ghosts' Kottarashky takes us to the imaginary Sofia district in New York, where the soundtrack a mix of Balkan music, rock, blues and jazz. For the vocal parts on the album, the producer called on Bulgarian beat poet Dimitar 'Nufry' Vassilev ('Once', 'Mission Completed') and the result is an album that may contain a tad less Balkan influences than its predecessors, but nevertheless makes for a fascinating listening experience. Kottarashky continues to push the boundaries of the Balkans-genre. Top tracks: the instrumental 'Fuga' and closing track 'Maze', that somehow seems to capture the essence of the album.
