Where yours truly is concerned Lyricson is the artist from the French scene with the most international appeal and the fact he uses a kind of patois making it difficult to distinguish him from his Jamaican colleagues, certainly has something to do with that. With 'Messages', Lyricson delivers his third album to date and after 'Born 2 Go High' and 'Keep The Faith' this is once more a decent achievement. There are moments that are a tad too corny ('Rise', 'Provider & Guide'), but tracks like 'From The Beginning' or 'Wise Up' are outright smashes.
