True to Jamaican tradition M Records follows Michael Rose's 'African Roots' release with a dub version of the album. Yours truly did not hide his enthusiasm for 'African Roots' and doesn't have anything bad to say about 'African Dub' either. Maybe Ryan Moore has been a bit too generous with his effect buttons here and there, but that's more a matter of taste.
The compilation album 'Twilight Circus presents Deeper Roots' also features two songs from 'African Roots', but the rest of the tracks are by reggae legends like Big Youth, Jah Stitch or Cornell Campbell and that certainly adds to its appeal.
