With the release of this second album, Professor, Groundation's Harrison Stafford's solo project, proves to be more than a whim of its bandleader. Recorded live at the 2011 edition of the Reggae Sun Ska Festival in France, 'Throw Down Your Arms' offers the listener a more diverse palette than predecessor 'Madness'. Songs like 'Mind Of Man', 'Intifada' or 'East Jerusalem', which Stafford wrote after a visit to Israel and Palestine, are neatly performed in the same order they also appeared in on 'Madness', supplemented with some new tracks ('They Never Love', 'Armagideon') and of course 'Throw Down Your Arms', the Burning Spear cover which also serves as the title of this live album. Above all else 'Throw Down Your Arms' proves that Professor also works live but with veterans like Leroy 'Horsemouth' Wallace and Errol 'Flabba' Holt in its ranks that should not surprise!
