It had been a while since we last heard from Ras Shiloh. His last album, 'From Rasta To You', was released back in 2002. The long silence is somewhat strange as at the end of the nineties, Shiloh was still tipped as one of the new roots promises next to the late Garnet Silk. He now returns with 'Coming Home', an album produced by Bobby Digital that sounds like a logical sequel to 'From Rasta To You'. Without sounding dated in any way, 'Coming Home' definitely has a nineties vibe. For the riddim-junkies amongst you there's, among others, 'Voice Of The People' (on the same riddim as Capleton's 'Jah Is My Everything'), 'Come Down Jah Jah' (on the Johnny Too Bad riddim) and 'All Of Me' (on the indestructible classic Breaking Up).
