With the title of his new album on the Greensleeves label, Sizzla winks at the current Myspace internet hype. Sizzla-releases are always tricky as quantity often supersedes quality. 'I-space', primarily produced by In The Streetz producer Byron Murray, is, however, a very solid Sizzla album. Roots lovers can breathe a sigh of relief because after his adventures with hip-hop mogul Damon Dash, Sizzla distances himself from rougher dancehall again and instead, we're offered the sort of conscious dancehall tunes we prefer to hear from the man. 'Really And Truly' (over Bob Marley's 'Natural Mystic') is an excellent album opener and 'I-space' maintains that level throughout!
