With this double album full of delicious dubs by The Aggrovators, VP Records signs for the re-issue of three classics from the catalog of Steve Barrow's defunct Blood and Fire label. In 1993 Barrow flew to Jamaica where he took to Bunny Lee's studio at Duhaney Park where he spent days sifting through tons of master tapes in dire atmospheric conditions. The painstaking work eventually resulted in 'Dub Gone Crazy' (1994), 'Dub Gone 2 Crazy' (1996) and 'Dub Like Dirt' (1999), and those who already own these three albums might as well stop reading, but for all others 'Dubbing At King Tubby's' offers a real treasure trove of meanwhile classic riddims like: Poor Marcus ('Bag O Wire'), Declaration Of Rights ('Rights Of Dub') , Guiding Star ('Guidance Dub'), Take Five ('Hold Them In Dub'), Ites Green And Gold ('Dub Ites Green And Gold'), Give Me The Right ('Wreck Up A Version'), Just Give Up The Badness ('Channel Is A Joker'), Totally Together ('Dub Fi Gwaan'), Money Money ('Chapter or Money') and many more! With a total of no less than 42 versions, 'Dubbing At King Tubby's' guarantees about two and a half hours of pure dub fun.
