The combination Heptones-Studio 1 is just about synonymous with the best music Jamaica has ever produced. Leroy Sibbles, Barry Llewellyn and Earl Morgan scored their biggest hits in that brief period at the end of the 1960s when rocksteady ruled the island. For 'Sweet Talking' the Heartbeat label collected some hits from that period ('Equal Rights', 'Tripe Girl') on one disc, of course not forgetting to add some extra’'s in the form of extended mixes (the 9 minutes lasting 'Let's Try' and 'Message From A Blackman') and rarities ('Sad Songs', with Barry Llewellyn on lead vocal, appears on CD for the very first time!).
