'No More Friend', in 1983 already the fourth album by The Meditations (Ansel Cridland, Danny Clarke and Winston Watson) was originally described by the trio as being their first dance album. The Linval Thompson produced 'No More Friend' might have sounded more commercial than the trio's earlier work, anno 2008 this is just a delicious album for lovers of vocal trio's. Those who already own 'Deep Roots: The Best Of The Meditations', can still buy this disc, as only 'Carpenter Rebuild/Having Fun' appears on both albums.
