In these harsh musical times we're only too happy when we can introduce a new label. With their first two releases In The Woods Records focuses primarily on reissuing the catalog of the small World Record label from the 1980s. The label managed, among other things, to record music legend Tito Puente and his entire band for the first time, using what was then state of the art digital material. The result is 'Salsa, Salsa, Salsa' containing seven extended versions of some of Puente's big hits like 'Oye Como Va' and 'Babarabatiri'.

On the 'Indigenous Matter' compilation Tito Puente's tracks sound somewhat out of place next to tracks by the Mexican jarocho ensemble Conjunto Tlacotalpan, the Nigerian Benue State Council For Arts And Culture and the Ivorian Ensemble Traditionnel De L'Ecoupe Des Mondaingues. It all sounds far from bad, but this compilation lacks cohesion.
