With 'Pray Fi Di People' deejay-daddy U Roy is playing it safe; for each track he invited a guest vocalist and a lot of the tracks on the album are covers of classics from reggae history ('Ebony Eyes' with a beautiful Winsome Benjamin, 'Got A Date' feat. Sophia Squire, 'Pumps & Pride' with Tarrus 'Singy Singy' Riley). U Roy's deejay-style seems to work best when he's in female company, but a special mention has to go to Chezidek, who makes an appearance on two songs in the track list. Our personal favorite on 'Pray Fi Di People' is 'Power Of Love', a combination with Bitty McLean (once again proving to belong to the top of his generation) over the Guess Who's Coming To Dinner riddim. Wake the town and tell the people about this musical disc coming your way!
