Translated from Portuguese 'Todo Mundo E Feio' means something like: "everyone is ugly", but you can also read it as: "the whole world is ugly", a thought many may have shared after the recent tragic events in Brussels. However, with the title of his second album, Belgian-Brazilian singer-songwriter Renato Baccarat aka UTZ above all else, wanted to indicate everyone has their own defaults and particularities. On 'Todo Mundo E Feio' we once again encountered that mix of intimate bossa nova-like singer-songwriter tunes ('Gaveta', 'Braços', 'Indo', 'Sem Titulo') and more solid tracks ('Outra Coisa Para Querer', 'Tanto Esforço', 'Vai Passar'), with poppy title track 'Todo Mundo E Feio' as a nice exception.
