'BalkanGrooves' is a sort of Balkan Beats 2.0 and fans of Gypsy music know what that means. The music on this compilation is not all that different from what can be found on the Balkan Beats compilations, but is perhaps even more club-oriented, with no mix of genres being crazy enough (everything from dancehall over electro to drum & bass gets a Balkan-treatment and is spiced up with the necessary beats). The track list also contains some familiar names (Watcha Clan, Kottarashky, Dobranotch) and along with a series of lesser known names that amounts to 15 tracks getting the Eastblok Music quality label!
