After Jammy's it's now the output of George Phang's Powerhouse label that is the subject of a four-part double CD series. This collection counting no less than 160 (!) tracks, nicely classified by riddim, is without the slightest doubt the most extensive possible overview of the label which between 1984 and 1989 made name for itself with hits like Half Pint's 'Greetings', Barrington Levy's 'Money Move' and Frankie Paul's 'Tidal Wave', marking the transition between the classic roots era of the 1970s and the digital dancehall days of the 1980s. 17 North Parade/VP Records describes this as: "A cool and deadly collector's item", something we can only agree with!
