With the untimely death of his son Matthew, 2012 is probably a year Winston McAnuff wants to forget as soon as possible. That being said, the tireless rastaman still found the power to head back in the studio again. He again opted for a co-operation with Fixi (accordionist with French band Java) with whom he already collaborated for the 'Paris Rockin'' album (Makasound, 2006). The music on that album still sounded like a cross of French musette and reggae, but this time Fixi puts his accordion completely at the service of Winston's songs. Leading up to a full album later this year, which results in an EP containing four gems lifting the genre into unexplored territories and proving reggae is nothing less than WORLD-class music!
