For 'Y Se Fue La Bolita' Xamanek travelled to Chile, the birthplace of Luis and Sergio Pincheira, together with their sister Victoria, the core of the Liège based mestizo-band. The album was recorded in La Makinita, Juana Fe's studio in Santiago, where they collaborated with local bands/artists like Joe Vasconsellos, Banda Conmocion, La Mano Ajena, Juan Ayala and, of course, Juana Fe. The album's title is a typically Chilean expression (loosely translated it means something like "there it goes"), reminding the Pincheiras of their childhood in Chile. On 'Y Se Fue La Bolita', Xamanek once again serves the delicious mestizo-stew (salsa, cumbia, merengue, reggae, Mexican corrido, music from the Andes...) we also found on predecessor 'Somos Mundos', although it must be said this long player outshines the previous releases of the band. Xamanek has clearly returned home!
