Talisman - Nothing Change: The Best Of Talisman 1977-2018 (Sugar Shack Records)

After in recent years re-releases of British band Talisman's early work appeared on sister label Bristol Archive Records, and the band has clearly found a second wind with 2013s 'I-Surrection' and its 2017 successor 'Don't Play With Fyah', Sugar Shack Records now presents the career spanning compilation album 'Nothing Change: The Best Of Talisman 1977-2018'.

Talisman - Don't Play With Fyah (Sugar Shack Records)

Just as was the case with predecessor 'I-Surrection', for 'Don't Play With Fyah', Talisman once again opted for the showcase format.

Just as for Black Roots' 'On The Ground' album, the Sugar Shack Records label also signed off on a dub version of Talisman's 'I-Surrection'.

After Black Roots and Jashwha Moses, Bristol Archive Records' re-releases have now also inspired the members of Talisman to pick up their instruments again and record some new work.

TALISMAN - CC DE WARANDE 03/2015

"The thing with the name change is that back then we were still a young and upcoming band and the other band was already quite established."
