Capital Letters have released three albums over the years, but only one of those managed to conquer a place in our collective reggae memory. The 1979 release, 'Headline News', still holds a special place in our record collection, and the fact that with the release of 'Reality' this band from Wolverhampton is once again active we can therefor only applaud. That being said, 'Reality' is not really a new album as such as it actually consists of a series of recordings from 1985 for an album that never manifested. Once again we owe this release to Mike Darby and his Reggae Archive Records label. The new version of Capital Letters biggest hit 'Smoking Ganja' (presented here along with a dub version) is somewhat unnecessary, but the other tracks (in old-school style just about all followed by a dub version) immediately take one back to the UK roots vibes of the early nineteen eighties.
