In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was Jah and Word was Jah. (John 1:1)

Greetings In the name of His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I, lord of lords, king of kings, conquering lion of the tribe of Judah.

First and foremost thanks to the most high Jah, without whom none of this would be possible.

There's an old Jewish saying that says: save one soul, save the world entire. I hope that this website may be that inspiration to all that are open to the message of love and unity that is Rastafari.

Tim Ianna a.k.a. Jah Rebel (born Turnhout 27/08/1973) is the driving force behind Jah Rebel Productions and Rebel Audio System.

Jah Rebel Productions

Jah Rebel Productions is the name used to unite all activities, the coat of arms so to speak. Jah Rebel Productions stands for social engagement in the spirit of Rastafari. For the people by the people. There can be no party without people.

In time Jah Rebel Productions should grow out to become a label of quality for decent, spiritual roots reggae parties that should always be void of entrance fees.

Rebel Audio System

As a logical consequence to my passion for reggae and an ever-enlarging CD collection, I decided to give it a try behind the turntables myself. Rebel Audio System stands for conscious, positive music spanning from the original roots reggae from the seventies over the ragamuffin of the eighties to the new roots generation of today. No gadgets, no pretence, let the music speak for itself.

HIM, the Haile Selassie I Internet Museum

Becoming ever more engrossed in reggae and Rastafarianism, my fascination for the figure of His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I and the country under his rule, Ethiopia, grew larger by the day.

Over the years I've amassed quite an extensive collection of objects (ranging from coins over medals to memorabilia and more) all referring in one way or the other to the era of the reign of His Imperial Majesty.

By presenting the collection on this site, I'm humbly trying to create a better image of Ethiopia's heritage.
