In these desperate times for reggae music Germany's hope is set on Bielefelder Cornadoor (born Philip Knoop). Vocally Cornadoor, who rose to fame with his single 'Long Road' in 2008 promptly to be declared Best National Newcomer by Riddim Magazine, reminded yours truly of the voice of Pieter Both, lead vocalist with Dutch band Beef; a voice that takes some getting used to. Apart from that there's little room for criticism about this Sound Quake produced debut album though. Cornadoor got his nom-de-plume from the Jamaican proverb: "Mi throw mi corn a door, but mi nuh call nuh fowl." (see also Bob Marley's 'Who The Cap Fit') meaning something like: "You are who you are and not who you pretend to be.".
