Where this latest Pressure Sounds release is concerned the term obscure is an understatement. If we are to believe the accompanying press release, no one knew of the existence of 'Sound System International Dub LP' until a copy surfaced earlier this year. As the title suggests, 'Sound System International Dub LP' is a dub album produced by Clancy Eccles and mixed by none other than King Tubby. The track list contains mostly lesser-known tracks from Eccles' catalog (including a dub version of Lord Creator's 'Kingston Town', a tune made famous by UB40) performed by his house band The Dynamites. Also fun are the deejay versions by pioneering-deejay and Studio One veteran King Stitt.
