For Kwame Bediako, a Ghanaian residing in Chicago, 'Forward' is already his third self-published album. Kwame's voice is somewhat reminiscent of that of the regretted Lucky Dube. If his voice sounds familiar, that may be because his song 'Stepping Into Zion' was included on the Putumayo label's 2009 'African Reggae' compilation. For 'Forward Ever' Bediako collaborated with Georges Kalimba, famous for his work with Alpha Blondy, and Jim 'Lion' Fox. Straightforward African reggae album that doesn't surprise anywhere, but holds its own.
