Lariba is a seven-man band operating out of Zürich in Switzerland and describing their music as "fresh urban Latin music" with each band member adding his own elements to the mix. Titles like 'Mozambique Pa' Ti', 'Carta A La Habana' or 'Signori Dei Canali' speak for themselves. Lariba's line-up is reminiscent of a meeting of the United Nations (Brazil, Trinidad, Cuba, Sicily...) and their debut effort, 'Como Lo Ves' echoes bands like Orishas, Sergent Garcia and even Zuco 103 or Bebel Gilberto. Musica me-Suiza indeed!
