The success of a number of European tours and his collaboration with Groundation ('Upon The Bridge') inspired Pablo Moses enough to hit the studio again. His last album ('In The Future', Tabou 1) already dated back to 2006 so the fact this new album was named 'The Rebirth' is only logical. With the almost timeless work Moses recorded for Geoffrey Chung (the triptych 'Revolution Dream', 'A Song' and 'Pave The Way'), the material on 'The Rebirth' doesn't compare, but it definitely ranks among the better albums in his discography and with the help of top musicians like Sly & Robbie, Dean Fraser, Skully Simms, Sticky Thompson and Dwight Pinckney, that should come as no surprise.
