After Greensleeves ('Jammy's From The Roots 1977-1985'), the Pressure Sounds label in turn focusses on the early period of Prince Jammy with the reissue of 'Strictly Dub', a dubalbum that appeared on the fairly obscure New York based Jammy's Records label at the beginning of the 1980s. An obscure gem more than worth a second chance, because with the help of, among others, Sly & Robbie, Bobby Ellis (trumpet) and 'Deadly' Headly Bennet (sax) Jammy recorded versions of classics like 'Baba Boom' and 'Ali Baba' from the Treasure Isle vaults and 'Always Together' and 'Shank I Sheck' from the Studio One archives. Dub from the master!
