For 'Re-Cooked Sessions' Terrakota revisited the material they recorded for 'World Massala', resulting in a number of remixes that, where the first five tracks of the album are concerned, have a bit of a reggae vibe doused in Indian sounds. In 'Massala Dub', the dub version of 'World Massala' yours truly even recognized a bass line from Alpha Blondy's 'Brigadier Sabari'. The fact 'Re-Cooked Sessions' is a remix album, is perhaps the more appropriate when you know the line-up of Terrakota also underwent a remix: singer Romi Anauel left the band to focus on a solo career and Diana Rego joined Terrakota as a percussionist and dancer.
