Flox is the alter-ego of Florian Gratton, a singer-songwriter of French-English descent based in Paris. Phlox may already be living in France from the age of 11, 'Homegrown', already his fifth long player to date, sounds anything but French and will rather appeal to fans of UK acts like The Skints, Hollie Cook or Prince Fatty. On his previous albums, Flox didn't shy away from experimenting with other genres, but for his next long player he promised his fans a full-fledged new roots album drawing on influences like Linton Kwesi Johnson, The Police, Fat Freddy's Drop and everything in between. Top tracks: 'A Road', 'Cut It' (a revamp of the Bam Bam riddim) and 'The Sound Of The Champion'. Reggae gem waiting to be discovered!
