The cover design of Turkish Hayvanlar Alemi's 'Guarana Superpower' is reminiscent of albums by bands from the end of the nineteen sixties and the early seventies like Jefferson Airplane or Iron Butterfly. Not coincidentally perhaps, because musically that period had a great influence on Hayvanlar Alemi: Turkish psychedelic rock with echoes of the work of The Doors (with the electric guitars and mandolins of Itez Özüm and Işik Sarihan replacing Ray Manzarek's signature Hammond organ). Intriguing, but possibly only for a niche audience.
