I Sens is a young talent from Normandy, who in the past still collaborated with his close friend Shifty (Sativa Sound), in 2015 resulting in the 'From The Light' mixtape (still downloadable for free on I Sens' website). The singjay currently resides in Landes in the southwest of France, where he joined forces with local band The Diplomatik's. The first fruit of their collaboration is this 6 track 'Cycle' EP, on which I Sens alternates between French and English. The two tracks in the language of Molière, 'Accroché A Tes Rêves' and 'Posé', could easily convince us, but I Sens French accent when singing in English is way too prevalent too make it enjoyable. The low point on the EP is 'Your Numba', an update of the Toots & The Maytals classic '54-46 Was My Number', but where Toots was still referring to his hard times in jail, I Sens only seems to be after a girl's phone number on a sunny summer's day. Our final verdict: I Sens please stick to French and you'll have a fan in yours truly, but stick to singing in English and oblivion will soon beckon.
