From the first moment one hears the songs on 'Rasta Still De 'Bout' they have a certain familiarity, not surprising maybe when you know producer Andreas 'Brotherman' Christopherson already used a lot of the riddims on this album for albums he did with Anthony B, Luciano and Lutan Fyah. Josie Mel's name might not be that widespread yet, but with the songs on 'Rasta Still De 'Bout' he clearly shows potential. This collaboration with Minor7flat5 offers an hour of reggae relaxation. Highlights: title track and duet with Lutan Fyah 'Rasta Still De 'Bout' (including nice video clip!) and 'And I Pray' a combination with Smokie Benz.

Those same Minor7flat5 riddims were also used for 'The Good, The Bad & The Blazing' featuring Junior Kelly, Bounty Killer and Capleton. Kelly is at the top of his form, but the intros of the songs feel somewhat forced and make 'The Good, The Bad & The Blazing' sound like a promo campaign for the label.
