Yours truly was definitely not blown away by King Hopeton's 'The King Of Kings'. From a vocal point of view the singer from Saint Ann (born Horace Campbell) is above reproach, but the instrumentation on the album leaves much to be desired (check, for example, the keyboard riff sounding like an annoying mosquito on 'Crying Out For Peace') and lyrically Hopeton is unfortunately a bit too prone to clichés. The better songs on the album reminded yours truly of Morgan Heritage ('Got To Be Stronger') and Lukie D (title track 'King Of Kings' over the Tonight riddim).
