No idea what their band name exactly means, but the story of La Chiva Gantiva - a group of Colombian expatriates who found each other in music - is the same as that of Spanish band Che Sudaka, but from a musical point of view the two bands are quite different. For 'Pelao' ("bankrupt") La Chiva Gantiva joined forces with producer Richard Blair (Sidestepper) drawing inspiration from Colombian genres like cumbia and musica llanera and rock, funk and afrobeat. The result is a delicious and very danceable potpourri that will not be out of place on a summer festival stage. Don't miss this Brussels party!
