After a first side project, Rockamovya, in 2008, Groundation front man Harrison Stafford this time launches Professor. For 'Madness' he travelled to Kingston and surrounded himself with some of Jamaica's most famous music veterans (Leroy 'Horsemouth' Wallace on drums and Roots Radics veteran Earl 'Flabba' Holt on bass). The songs on 'Madness' sound a lot more accessible than the at times drawn out jazzy arrangements of Groundation and (sorry hardcore fans) that's not something you will hear yours truly complain about. Inspiration for the tracks the professor got from a stay in the Israeli-occupied territories, also explaining the album artwork. It's far from unthinkable 'Madness' will end up in our top ten for 2011!
