After years of absolute silence, Ras Shiloh already released his 'Coming Home' album earlier this year on the VP Records label and now there's 'Only King Selassie' distributed by Greensleeves. This time it's not Bobby Digital, but King Jammy who's in charge of production and Jammy-fans will easily recognize some of the riddims used. Asked to select one song from the track list yours truly would opt for 'Mamma Africa', a combination with Lutan Fyah (whose name is for some reason not mentioned on the album sleeve). With 'Only King Selassie' Ras Shiloh proves yet again being one of the most convincing voices of his generation. Recommended listening!
