R.B.H. Crew (the initials stand for Reggae Beat Hungry) is a six-piece French band from Agen near Toulouse, with 'Origines' presenting a first debut-EP. In the track list 5 songs with the distinctive voice and accent of lead vocalist Jerome Dubois and the unmistakable blues rock influences standing out. Only 'Ba' Mali' is a bit of an odd one out, as it's a tribute to the West African country and the many great musicians it produced; a song for which R.B.H. Crew clearly drew inspiration from the sound of grand master Ali Farka Touré.
