The foundation for 'Crush The Rock' was laid in 2007, when Rohan Lee and Asham Band headed to Sen-C P's studio for a multiday recording session. Some tracks on the album ('Dance Stage Show', title track 'Crush The Rock') are reminiscent of Rohan's debut album 'For The Poor' (Runn, 2000), but songs like 'Through The Fire' and 'Struggler In The Ghetto' (dedicated to his mother) are proof of the evolution Rohan has gone through. The light-hearted 'Fun Time' is the only real miss on 'Crush The Rock' and compliments also have to go out to Sen-C P, as the dub tracks on the album are very nicely done. Rohan Lee hasn't lost his touch yet!
