'Super Ska' is the title of a 1983 album by Jamaican veteran Owen Gray. No idea if it was also the inspiration for the eponymous band from Ciney, who with this double album are releasing their second long player. For the first disc of 'Pow Wow' the eight piece band was joined by Liege jazz guitarist Jacques Pirotton, but on the second CD they can be their true selves and the result is a successful mix of ska infused with influences from jazz ('Roquefort Rock'), rhythm & blues ('Portrait Of George Elvis'), swing ('Super Skwing'), surf (opener 'Surf Ska', title track 'Pow-Wow') , rocksteady/reggae ('Carpe Diem', 'Février') and dixieland ('One Dollar Song'). Wallonia swings!
