With the 'Orthodox' album by The Rastafarians, a roots band from Los Angeles around Haile Maskel (Michael Ashley aka Mikey Ras Starr, of which Makasound already released the great 'Fire & Rain' last year), Shaka Man (Patrick Houchen) and Herb Daly, Makasound signs for one of the best rereleases of 2009. 'Orthodox', the first and only album released by The Rastafarians, originally appeared in 1981 and was reissued on CD for the first time in 2005 on the obscure Jubalee Palace label. Those who like bands like The In-Crowd, Zap Pow or Chalice will also enjoy 'Orthodox'. Roots classic that should not be missing in any reggae collection!
