'Dub Station', an album that was given IRIE100 as a catalog number, is the hundredth release on the Austrian Irievibrations Records label. For this compilation label boss and producer Syrix gave a number of well-known Irievibrations productions like Anthony B's 'Freedom Fighter' or Luciano's 'Hard Road' a dub treatment. But the track list also contains a few unreleased songs like opener 'Dub Station', the title track of the album over a riddim especially produced for the occasion, or 'Step Inna The Place Dub', of which the original vocal cut featuring A-Game will appear on an EP release later this year. Feel free to consider 'Dub Station' a sort of 'Best Of Irievibrations Records In Dub', or, for those who for some reason still aren't familiar with the label's output still: proof that in Vienna they also know what good dub should sound like!
