The term "crisis" seems taboo at the offices of Kasba Music, because the label keeps on turning out mestizo albums as if it were hot cakes.

'Para Todos Los Publicos' (roughly translated "something for everyone") is the name of the new long player by Zulu 9.30, who, with this album wanted to put more emphasis on the content of their songs. That results in a poppy ready-for-radio sound that we didn't expect of them and frankly didn't leave us with a long-lasting impression. To get an idea of what this sounds like check the bubbling 'Suelo Pasar', a track which unintentionally reminded us of Dutch rapper Gers Pardoel's hit 'Ik Neem Je Mee'. Exceptions in the track list are reggae song 'En Otro Lugar' and 'Jo Dono La Cara ', the first track for which Zulu 9.30 switches to Catalan. Tested and found wanting!

Nanai is a Valencia based band that by combining the voices of Pilar 'Pi' McCarthy and Saúl Vanaclocha holds an extra trump card. Pablo Riaño's flute also adds an extra element to the songs on 'Sonideros'. Although the band already released some self-published stuff, they consider 'Sonideros' as their official album debut. Like Canteca De Macao did for 'Nunca Es Tarde', Nanai financed 'Sonideros' by using microcredits provided by their fans. Nanai's mestizo-recipe is a mixture of reggae and ska with elements from cumbia, rumba and even a dash of jazz and funk ('Colores').

'Xapomelön', La Pegatina's previous release, couldn't really convince, but with the energetic 'Eureka!' (putting the band's tenth anniversary in the spotlight) the Barcelonians take revenge. For opener 'Non È Facile' La Pegatina joined hands with Sicilian Baciamolemani and the song sets the tone for the rest of the album. Other guests on the album are ex-Terrakota vocalist Romi Anauel ('No Hi Ha Ningú'), Basque Esne Beltza ('Ara Ve Lo Bo') and Love Of Lesbian ('Amantes De Lo Ajeno'). That last song, a narrative singer-songwriter track, is an exception in the otherwise energetic track list. Always looking for the latest technology to promote their music, La Pegatina collaborated with Ubico Studio, who created an interactive video game for 'Eureka!' fans can play for free on the band's Facebook and Twitter pages.
